  7. Expand ''Operating system drives'' option
  8. Double click on the option ''Required additional authentication at startup''
  9. Change the settings to enabled
  10. Check the box ''Allow BitLocker without a compatible TPM''
  11. Press Apply and Ok

2. Clear TPM


Trusted Platform Module (TPM) is a chip used in motherboard that provides various security measures. Using BitLocker without TPM can be inappropriate to users, if the device is incorporated with the hardware. So you must find a way to use TPM without turning it off. The best known way for this is by clearing TPM.

To clear TPM,
  1. Press ''Windows + R''
  2. Type ''tpm.msc''
  3. Navigate to the ''Actions'' tab
  4. Press ''Clear TPM'' 


3. Reconnect Domain


The current domain which you have connected can be the reason behind this error. Under this condition, you can resolve the issue easily by reconnecting the domain.

To reconnect domain,
  1. Go to Start
  2. Type ''Settings'' and Click on it
  3. Press ''Accounts''
  4. Click on ''Access work or school''
  5. Select and disconnect the domain
  6. Follow the onscreen instructions
  7. Restart the PC
After your PC restarts, reconnect the domain to see if the issue has been fixed.
