  5. Press Shift + F10
  6. Type and press Enter after the command
                    CHKDSK x : / f / r  (x stands for the respective drive)


3. Clear CMOS Battery


Apart from some newer model laptops, the cache data of your PC is usually stored inside the CMOS battery. The users who have experienced this error have successfully sorted out the issue by clearing the CMOS battery. If it is a memory chip you can try clearing them too.
